Covid-19 and CAC

To our current and future CAC patients-

We understand that there is significant concern surrounding the COVID-19 virus. It is clear that we all play a role in protecting each other from spreading the infection.

At Coastal Allergy Care we have always followed recommended guidelines to help prevent the spread of any infection. The perfect example is influenza. Our asthmatic, elderly, infant, and immune compromised patients are at high risk of complications from influenza each flu season. Our office and employees have always followed precautions to decrease the spread of this virus. We have transitioned to include COVID-19 as one of these infectious illnesses.

The doctors and administration at CAC have assessed our internal infection control and have improved the internal process to keep not only our patients but also our employees safe. We have increased measures within our offices to keep surfaces clean. The virus has been shown to be easily killed by standard cleaning solutions.

In addition, we ask ill patients to wear a mask and gloves and if you have specific COVID-19 risk factors please call our front office 805-482-8989 before entering the waiting room. Once we assess your situation we may offer you a mask and gloves, meet you at your car, send you to another more appropriate facility, or ask you to go home and self -quarantine.

As physicians and physician assistants that are members of this community we want to take every precaution to take the best care of our valued and loved patients which to us are more like family.
