There are 4 different flu vaccines available. The nasal swab which is a LIVE vaccine and not to be used in asthmatics. A trivalent vaccine which covers 3 different flu strains, a high dose trivalent vaccine for seniors, and a QUADRIVALENT vaccine which covers 4 different flu strains. This year Coastal Allergy Care is administering the QUADRIVALENT vaccine.
