Ryan Shilian, DO
I am Board Certified in pediatric and adult allergy/clinical immunology and internal medicine. I completed my undergraduate training at the University of California Los Angeles before moving to the Bay Area for four years to attend medical school at Touro University. My internal medicine residency was completed at the University Hospitals in Cleveland where I also served as a chief resident. I spent two additional years specializing in pediatric and adult allergy and clinical immunology at the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University.
I have presented at several national conferences; have several peer-reviewed publications and research and am fortunate to have received international recognition. I am very passionate about teaching and have mentored both medical students and residents.
As I am certified in caring for both children and adults, I treat environmental, food, medication, and stinging insect allergies; asthma; immunodeficiency/recurrent infections; nasal polyps; eczema; contact dermatitis; hives; angioedema; anaphylaxis; mast cell disorders; eosinophilic esophagitis; and adverse reactions to vaccinations.
Having recently returned to California, I live in the San Fernando Valley area with my wife and son. Travelling and visiting other countries is one of my passions. I look forward to any opportunity to exercise, read, and enjoy being outdoors with my family.
